“Another beautiful locale”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed July 5, 2014

On a hill above Nice in Cimiez, i think, is this convent and garden. It's also across the park from the Matisse Museum which is well worth the trip. Lovely views from up there too.

“Not to be missed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 27, 2014

You could spend half day in the area visiting the church, the beautiful gardens, walk through the Olive grove to the Matisse Museum, if interested with archeology there is a Roman site on the premises and through the exit opposite the monastery you can walk around the beautiful Regina Palace where Queen victoria used to stay and where Matisse died. If curious enough there are still beautiful properties in the area.

“good views”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed June 20, 2014

15 min from down town by bus. Walking and taking photos took one hour. More time is needed to visit the church and the museum.

“Garden is wonderful!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 6, 2014

I went there for the first time about 15 years ago for a marriage and felt in love with that place! The Convent is really nice and I came back during "Nuits Musicales" for a classical music concert in the Cloitre. The atmosphere is fascinating and the garden is really beautiful!
