We've wanted to eat here for a while: great location, lovely looking, nice menu and a reasonably priced Menu du Jour - however, when we visited the service was very slow indeed! This isn't the fault of the actual staff who were lovely but for most of the evening 3 people were covering the whole of the downstairs terrace which meant after initially placing our order we waited an age for drinks, entree and then the main course. When the food did arrive it was good but also disappointing - I think the kitchen was also under staffed as one of our mains was almost cold - the desserts looked great but by this time we'd given up and so just aksed for the bill. While waiting a huge coach party emerged from upstairs inside the restaurant and a host of other staff so I'm hoping that this explains the very average evening so we may try again. I'd also add it's good for families (it was full of them) and so perhaps not good for a romantic meal for two!
