“Monaco Grand Prix Weekend”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 29, 2013

A lovely small hotel in a fantastic location.Rooms are small and basic but very clean and the owner and staff are very friendly and helpful.Situated close to both the tram stop and the railway station the hotel is in a perfect place to discover Nice and the rest of the Cote D,Azur. There is a small amount of work going on in the lobby areas at the moment to modernise these but this does not detract from having a pleasant stay.Overall a good budget choice for this area.

Room Tip: There is a small amount of road noise from rooms at front of hotel.

Nothing safety as we stole my money (a sum very high) of the room and no one took over. In the next room also were stolen and the hotel did not respond at all. Inclusive charged me 2 nights hotel!
There are no security cameras, no magnetic keys and walked no safety box. The only thing that the owner said that could not have happened at your hotel. I have the police report to whoever wants it.

I was expecting more based on the reviews I read here from other users. 4 user-stars is really over rated. Room was tiny, although clean. Check-in took FOREVER and we were only 4 not 20. Elevator is the smallest I have ever seen. So is the tv, which was even placed high up on the wall so very difficult to watch. Good that we only paid 89€ per double room because any amount more than that would have been too much. Staff however was helpful and kind, they even made efforts to speak italian and english. Breakfast is 10€ which is not bad (although I cannot judge the quality as we did not have it) and parking is 12€ which is ok, considering they give you a parking spot in a garage which is 500mt away from the hotel. Honestly would not go back unless I found the same price.

Room Tip: don't take the classic room

Cher Monsieur

Small independent hotel with a friendly local experience. Recently refurbished and in great condition. Good breakfast and relaxed hours. I was in room 53 which had a large balcony with sunbed - the top floor to the rear and was quiet.

This hotel is two seconds away from the tram stop which takes you to the beaching five minutes... The walk to Old Nice and the beach is less than fifteen minutes. It's also less than five minutes walk to Acropolis convention center. The room and bathroom were spotless, and the staff said they will be renovating the bathrooms within the year. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was yummy as well! Wifi throughout the entire hotel was great. Will definitely stay here again next time visiting Nice.
