My wife and I have stayed here twice. It is ideally placed for the airport, beaches and old town. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are clean and a good size. Customers can gain access to the private Blue Beach directly opposite for a sizeable reduction in price. Car hire can be arranged via reception.
The hotel has a beautiful belle epoque exterior and is on the Promenade des Anglais, halfway between the airport and the old town of Nice. Its restaurant, Le Siecle, offers a high-quality menu. Breakfast is served in the outside bar area.
The only downside in my view is that the West End does not have a raised terrace for cocktails and late afternoon/evening drinks. The hotel next door, the Westminster, runs rings round it in this respect. The West End bar is hidden away behind palm trees and a marquee and could be made to look a lot more inviting. Nevertheless, I like this hotel very much and would gladly return.
