The St Nicholas Orthodox Cathedral, is a Russian Orthodox cathedral of the Moscow Patriarchate, the legal property of the Russian Federation administered by the Property Department of the Moscow Kremlin and a national monument of France, located in the city of Nice. Opened in 1912, thanks to the generosity of Russia's Tsar Nicholas II, it is the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral in Western Europe.
