We ate at La Rossettisserie twice last week and the first night was excellent. The smoked salmon blini started was great and the roast pork was excellent. In fact my first words to my husband were, "taste this, you'll think you've died and gone to heaven". The waitress was really friendly and the ambiance very warm and lively. We were so impressed that we asked if they had a table for the following night.... (booking is essential). Our experience couldn't have been more different. We were seated in the cave downstairs which was quieter and had a nice romantic feel to it. We both ordered the pork, anticipating a delicious meal.... and it was dreadful - very chewy, fatty and unpleasant (it was the same chef by the way). The waiter was apologetic and offered us our choice of another meal and free digestifs, but it didn't make up for our disappointment.
