I quite enjoyed our dinner here. We had the 46 euro 'menu saveur': my dishes were oysters in apple gelee served with a skate paste, 'pageot' (a fish of the bream family the waiter informed me) and a chocolate cake. The dessert was delicious, but the other courses didn't set my palate alight: the skate was a bit tasteless, and the pageot was OK rather than great. (I enjoyed the other bream dish, a 'daurade royale', that I had at another restaurant in Nice, more.) The wine list was extensive and the prices fair: our white bandol was excellent. Service was friendly and professional throughout. I think that my reaction to the food may depend on the date of visit since the menu changes frequently: there are only three choices for each course, and if they are not to your taste on the day you visit then you may be disappointed.
