After reading a review in the Lonely Planet, we set off on an afternoon stroll to check out the menu with a view to booking that evening. As soon as we arrived there was another British couple doing exactly the same, they had read about it on TA.
Even though the restaurant had only just opened for lunch, the staff were friendly and helpful as they took us through the menu and their specialities. We went ahead and reserved a table (as did the other couple!) and we weren't disappointed! It's on a quiet side street, but despite that it is clear that many people have discovered this place: there was a lovely ambience from the moment we arrived. We sat outside, all the tables were full and we wasted no time ordering a bottle of wine which was very reasonably priced compared to some places in Nice. I chose the pasta with Parmesan, cream and white truffle (it was phenomenal!) and my friend had the mushroom risotto. Both were lovely, there were plenty of other options to choose from that all sounded delicious too.
The staff were attentive and polite throughout and we really enjoyed our visit, overall this is a great place to experience a lovely evening, but do book in advance!
