I had dinner at the Mas Candille on Saturday. Despite it being the 'low season' the restaurant had a fantastic atmosphere, the bar was warm and cosy and there were plenty of people there. The food was amazing - even the little nibbles we had with the champagne at the start of the evening meal were truly delicious. I had the fresh crab to start and sole for main and a mirabelle souffle for pudding. Each course, plus the amuse bouches were beautifully presented. The service was impecable. I don't have many gastronomic meals out and am sure there are many people for whom a gastronomic meal is a treat - on that basis you really want to get it right and i can fully, wholeheartedly and enthusiastically recommend this restaurant.
