“A great escape!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 13, 2013 for a stay in January 2013

Wanting to get away for a week from grey England we left the day of a huge snowfall and three hours later we were having lunch on the seafront in the fresh air in glorious sunshine.
The apartment is perfectly located about 100 yards from the airport bus stop ,50 yards from the sea and spoilt for choice as far as restaurants are concerned.A lovely peaceful town with friendly residents. 5 minutes walk from a fabulous train service to get to Monaco or Italy.
The apartment had everything we needed ,lots of helpful notes left by Adrian to make our stay more interesting and enjoyable.Avery relaxing place to stay and we looked forward to going back "home"every night.Fabrice ,the concierge , was such a warm helpful guy.
It really was a great escape.

“Wonderful Family Getaway”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed February 2, 2013 for a stay in January 2013

We were a family of six with grown up children wanting to enjoy a relaxed French Lifestyle for a week and this apartment in Menton was the perfect place. Adrian, the owner, is really helpful and courteous and Fabrice, the concierge, is charming and friendly. The apartment is clean, comfortable and represents really good value without being extravagant. Everything worked efficiently allowing us to concentrate on the delights of The Riviera. The building is a classic fin de siecle relic but in great condition. Menton still maintains the romance and style of its Victorian heyday unlike many other towns that are showing the ravages of modern development. All the culinary delights are within a short walk, as is the beach and the old town. The vieux ville is beautiful in its mottled pink and oranges ochres and St. Michele's Cathedral celebrates a very atmospheric mass around 10 on a Sunday. The old cemetery is a must for Rugby fans with the grave of William Webb Ellis nestled in with a host of English consumptives. Art lovers will enjoy following the path of Jean Cocteau around the town. Adrian supplied us with the information to get to the classic Riviera gardens for which Menton is famous. Garden lovers will also enjoy the pleasant views over the Jardin des Etates -Unis which the apartment overlooks. This apartment is the perfect location to enjoy the very civilised lifestyle of the Cote D'Azure.

“Perfect in every way. We didn't want to leave!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 17, 2012 for a stay in March 2012

Mr. Fogarty's flat is wonderful in every way. Bright, airy and very clean with every essential provided. Fabrice, the concierge took care of my daughter and myself as if we were great treasures. The apartment is exceptionally located 1 block back from the beach, so it is very quiet and overlooks a beautiful garden. Everything is within easy walking distance and the people of Menton very cordial and inviting. Menton itself is indeed a pearl. If you go, you MUST stay here. Thank you so much Adrian! and thank you Fabrice! Our Holiday was absolutely perfect, and I must say we shed a few tears when we had to leave. We didn't want to go! Will definitely return!
