“Fantastic hotel in Menton”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 2, 2012

We stayed 6 nights in the room at the top floor at this hotel. Large room/suite/apartment with plenty of space for a family of four. Fantastic room with a large private roof terrace. I doubt that there are any better alternatives at this price in Menton - actually, I doubt that there are any better places to stay for a family in this area. The only drawback is that there is not an elevator to the top floor.

Room Tip: The suite on the top of the hotel is the perfect choice for a family.

First of all, I would like to thank all the staff from the reception for our marvellous family stay in Menton!
We chose the All Seasons Menton Center mostly because it is highly recommended by Tripadviser. Unfortunately, there is little information concerning the family room ( what is it like and so on).

Our room is in the 5th floor and it has a great terrace!. There is no door between the bathroom and the bedroom. We asked at the reception to do something with it and later on return from the beach we found very nice panel screen with Odri Hepbern and Marilyn Monroe images on different sides of it. Actually they have a family room with the door to bathroom but with small balcony. So the screen was just fine.
The most unfogettable thing about this hotel is the buffet breakfast- fresh orange and lemon juice, goog variety of pastry , yogurt and tea. Coffee was nice as well.

When we arrived my little daughter was given a special kids pack with pencils, coloring book etc.

Some disadvantages - On the first night there was a terribly loud hard rock concert in the Cafe des Arts (just around the corner) so we couldn't sleep till midnight even with the closed window and doors. Fortunately, it was just once.

- Be cautious when you leave your stuff close to the bin. The chambermaid took away our plastik bag with my daughter's beach toys, I suppose she thought it was a garbage and didn't even look inside to check.
The reception staff was very nice to buy some new toys the same day!

- There was a little crowd for breakfast sometimes in the morning and we have to wait for a free table. But the waiting was no more than 5 minutes.

I should say the the staff of this hotel turns every disadvantage into the benefit. That's remarkable!

I definitely recommend this All Seasons Menton to everyone, especially if you have a family!

We have stayed for 8 nights in this hotel.
We liked:
- the service, with the friendly Bob
- the location: close to the beach
- the breakfast with the possibilty to make your own fresh orange juice
Problem is always to find the good temperature by putting on and of the airco in the middle of the night. But that is perhaps our problem.
We did not like Menton, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

This hotel is ideally situated and provides nice clean rooms, full of light and with big balconies (sadly, with nothing much to look at). The design is simple, minimalist and functional, with very comfortable showers. The service was also excellent, although don't expect much during the night as there's only one employee on watch.

We really enjoyed our stay at the All Seasons Menton, its a newish hotel and everything works. Great shower and air con which was much appreciated - still very hot and humid mid September. Room was fine, not large but quiet at the back of the hotel with good king sized bed so excellent sleep. Fast Wifi connection (free).

Staff very friendly and helpful. We took the bus from Nice Airport and didn't bother with a car - you are in the middle of town with everything on your doorstep, lots of restaurants, a mini Carrefour - very handy - shops, old town etc etc.

We hope to return - recommended.

Good and helpful service, clean and spaceous rooms, well functioning air condition, free wifi. Parking in the private garage is easy if the car is not too big. In short - a nice hotel

In short - Very good service, spacious rooms with large balconies, clean, and welcoming. Finding the hotel is easy despite the small streets. The hotel has signs on most of the streets pointing you in the right direction. My frist impression of this hotel was of bright colours and clean shiny surfaces. The staff asked if they could "help you" everytime I walked past reception. I though "this is what a hotel would look like if it were furnished by Ikea". That's not a complaint, simply an observation. If you are bringing a car with you be mindful of the fact that entering and exiting is through the same narrow access. There was plenty of paint on the tighter turn points to indicate drivers have had trouble in the past. The breakfast room is small. Everything is self service and reminds me more of a cafeteria than a hotel restaurant. It's location in basically on the edge of the centre of Menton which is perfect. There is a small carrefour supermarket 50 metres walk from the foyer and the main street with shops and restaurants is just a little further. A nice hotel that was perfect for our needs. I gave it 5 stars not because its a five star hotel but because it was exactly as they claim to be, and I didn't lose any paint on the hire car.

Room Tip: if you can, ask for a room on the 5th floor where you have a larger balcony area with more sun and b...
