My wife and I stayed at Stable Cottage in Ste. Agnes during our recent trip to Europe. It was the best experience we encountered in the whole trip. We enjoyed both the village and the cottage very much. The cottage itself is well equipped and tastefully decorated. All the facilities were functioning properly. We felt very comfortable inside the house; the terrace and garden were another bonus. Ste. Agnes is a typical medieval French village up in the hill, with twisting lanes, covering with pebble stones, going up and down throughout the village. View from the cottage and the village is excellent. It is a place to relax, don’t rush. There are quite a number of routes for hiking of which I regret I didn’t have much time to try.
We particularly appreciated the hospitability from Anita, giving us proper advice and information. We had very good conversation, talking about live, travel and children. It was such a wonderful feeling. There was no TV in the cottage but we didn’t miss it at all. There was a rich collection of books and magazines in the library. Seeing mist and cloud floating across the hills through the window was a live show. It is a place for peacefulness.
I do hope that we could manage to come back to explore more
