“Small rooms”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 7, 2013

Needed a room for a night (last minute) and I was on my own.
Its very central and close to the coast! It was clean but very small. There is a safe and it had air conditioning!
I paid €70 for the night which I thought was a fair price for the location.
I would want to stay for more than 2 nights though!

Four adults in one room that was tiny, but nevertheless possesed all facilities including safe and patent air condition. The inner room space is renovated but still there is a lack of space. Accessabilty is a little bit of a problem along with proper parking. Balcony is a bonus. The lift can vaguely hold a suitcase and one person. Very close to promenade shops and "tourist restaurants".

Room Tip: A good summer vacation choice when sea shores are the desired target as its nearby.

No complaints about this hotel! It is located a block from the beach and close to everything in town. Rooms are small but that was expected. We had a room with a balcony, which was just lovely to sit out on at night. Breakfast was really nice, and a good price. The staff were helpful and friendly. All in all a good place to stay!

1 of 5 stars Reviewed March 17, 2013

We booked into the double room with balcony, and the room looks nothing like the photos posted on the hotel website. Very old and rundown, the wallpaper was peeling. The room itself was tiny; only around 50 square feet. The bathroom was essentially a converted closet. We booked the hotel for 4 nights, so wished to checkout after one night to change hotels but the hotel wouldn't let us and proceeded to charge us in full for all 4 nights. We left early anyway. The only positives are the central location in Juan-les-Pins and the free fast wifi.

Very small property located one block from the lovely beach at Juan les Pins and a short walk from all the restaurants and bars of the centre, as well as being a few blocks from the train station. Rooms are small but clean and good value in this part of the world. Room 314 is a little claustrophobic as it has just one small window very high up, ok for a short stay but for more than a couple of nights i would get a room with a balcony.

We (my wife and me ) spent a week at the end of June in hotel Aldo,Juan les Pins and I have to share our experience : it´s a very nice small family hotel, the rooms are bit smaller, but nice and clean (no insects at all !! ), the staff was very friendly, even they helped us after checking-out to call a taxi (the train was cancelled without warning on that day- thanks, French railways).
The ratio quality-prize is excellent.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2009

I thought it was about time a new review was posted for the Hotel Aldo as the last one was 2006!! My husband and I just returned yesterday (23/06/2009) having spent a week in the Aldo. The rooms have been refurbished and although quite small they are clean and fresh and the small shower room was a delight - all updated, new shower (good power and water supply) new tiles etc. Air conditioning was excellent! Small balcony (one at a time) with street view but for people watching what can be better! However, a two minute walk to the Promenade and who needs a balcony! I would also like to mention the room service which was excellent and room cleaned and new towels every day and although only staying a week the bed linen was changed. Thank you.

We booked this ourselves and Diana was very helpful and it was nice to meet both her and her husband. Thank you.
