Hotel Alexandra. Room not what I expected. Very disappointed. Booked a superior double through booking.com and the pictures looked fine. Got thr and the room has not been updated probably since the 1960s. Old carpet, old bed cracks in bathroom tiles awful. Did complain to the receptionist and she said it was a superior room because it had a balcony!it was like out of faulty towers. Also complained on checkout and they wernt interestedAnd for 130 euros and no breakfast I would definitely look elsewhere. I have always done my homework and looked at trip advisor before booking any holiday and reviews were all fine on Tripadvisor. We were so so disappointed. Paid less per night in nice and it included breakfast and although the room was small it was fabulous with a Juliet balcony. So don't book here unless you want basic basic basic. You have been warned! Run down, old and tired....bit like I felt after staying there! Also had argument with booking.com over this. I tried to resolve with the hotel directly as I thought the room we had was not worth more than 80 euros, but they were not interested inresolving. I told them I would do a write up on trip advisor, again, they were not interested. Stay at your peril!

Room Tip: Be careful what room you think you have booked. Look at my superior double photos! Was grim

I was looking forward to old fashioned charm but found a building in disrepair with none of the amenities listed on the booking sites. The owner was very rude and declared none of the problems were his fault. The owners told me they did not speak English, forcing me to use my high school French. There was a gaping hole in the side of the tub, large hole in the carpet on the balcony, sharp object poking out of the corner of the bed, no light bulb. There was no restaurant or ride from train. It was an almost 20 minute walk, uphill pulling bags. There was wifi only in common areas, but no lights there after 9pm. The road outside was so loud windows could not be left open. The price was much higher than other 2 star hotels in town. The next time it is inspected it should lose a star. Do not waste your vacation here.
The town of Juan les Pins is delightful. It is small and easy to walk around. I especially enjoyed Epi Beach, one of the private beaches. The staff was friendly, prices reasonable, amenities lovely, and food delicious. A place to escape.

Hotel Alexandra is a little gem three blocks back from the hustle and bustle of the seafront in Juan Les Pins. The building is beautiful and as soon as you walk into the hotel you sense an aura of peaceful relaxation. The rooms are nicely done, the breakfasts are good and the manager is a knowledgeable, smart and friendly man. Good value for money aswell. Couldn't recommend it highly enough.

Room Tip: If you have the budget ask for one of the garden balcony rooms...

Staff attending you very friendly, breakfast very good (and at a still normal price). Very nice terrace. Location just perfect: close to city center, beach, public transportation.
Rooms nice, as long as you avoid the ones without own toilet (likewise #16), Room #18 is nice, with both windows towards the back street instead of towards the main road.
Definitely to be recommended!

Room Tip: ask for own toilet

we stayed at this hotel last week and it has a lovely garden and plenty of french charm. our flight was cancelled due to the air traffic strike but the hotel owners were very accommodating and rearranged our room at very short notice. The breakfast was nice and competitive for the area which is expensive. after all it is the cote d'azure!
we had a lovely holiday there and it is close to both beach and station. our room was very clean and comfortable.

value for money and close to the beach. Personally, I fond the breakfast boring and not work 9 euros. The place is close to the train station but the rooms are not noise proof. They do not give you a bar of soap for bathing. The double Bed has two single mattresses on it. The stairs and floor are creaky.

Will try to find someplace better next time.

Room Tip: Room 2 has lots of light.
