We just returned from four nights at La Bastide. The foie gras entrée on the lunch menu was outstanding (I had it twice), as was the daurade and the dos de boeuf. The chocolate/mango dessert blended flavors and textures in a way you have to taste to believe. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the countryside is relaxing and romantic, to say the least. What made the stay really special was the exceptional service and attentiveness of the staff.
