“Good compromise and view to die for”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 17, 2013

The rooms need to be refurbished, unless you are a fan of the 70's, that's clear, and the access from the street is worth "Disneyland's Matterhorn Mountain", but the view is breathtaking.
An hotel at that price at only few kilometers from Monaco, is a good deal. their swimming pool is very nice.

We've stayed here before but this time it was worse

There's a different chef who assumed that everybody liked everything so salads were invariably dressed (rather than putting the dressing separately for the customer to add) and all the ingredients were mixed up rather than having separate bowls of lettuce, carrot, tomato, peppers, etc. The meat was also tough and fatty.

Children were allowed to play in the lift (despite a notice about two metres from the floor indicating that this was NOT permitted) and we frequently found that somebody had pushed all the buttons and then ran away so the lift, tediously, stopped on every floor; the notice should be in both English and French and at Child height.

The trees block the wonderful view from the terraces; pruning is required.

For inexplicable reasons, people opened the huge windows even though it was very cold and windy causing the dining room to be VERY cold.

Things in our room didn't work; some were fixed.

There were also a lot of extremely badly behaved children running about who pushed past people without asking “excuse me please” in ANY language. But I blame their parents for NOT teaching their offspring common courtesy - not a fault of the hotel.

Staff were helpful most of the time

The hotel is not so bad,but is far from the center so you need a car.The terrace of the room is in common with the other guests so you must keep curtain closed for your privacy. The staff of the reception at check in Time advise to close the windows or somebody can enter in your room...?that's not safe.breakfast is very good.

Contradicting some of the reviews here - the staff were super. Incredibly helpful and made our stay.

We were in room 604 one of the Presidential Suites - in a bit of the hotel where only 2 rooms are situated with a massive wrap round and private terrace.

The bed was massive, super comfy - but the decor had seen better days, housekeeping have not been behind the TV in the sitting room for many months given the carnage behind the cupboard and the feint damp smell was never far away.

The limited food selection in the restaurant was delicious...

The key factor which made this stay enjoyable was the staff - every one of them was great and irrespective of the dated decor, the staff and the vista will ensure we return...

I booked a double room on the internet for under 100 euros as it was off season. We arrived around noon. The room was not ready as they had a group just checking out from the night before. We checked back in around 5pm and they had given us a junior suite with a fabulous view of Cap Ferret for the same price as the double. It was a lovely gesture and one I really appreciated. The hotel does need an update, as I am certain management knows, but it's got a view that cannot be beat! The pool is to die for! Infinity over the Med!

This hotel is in desperate need of an update. Everything except for maybe the lobby is stuck in the 70's but considering that the rooms are decent and comfortable.

Pool area has great views but shows signs of wear and tear everywhere.

Price was good and reflective of the overall hotel condition.

Great views!!

The Hotel is very well located and the view (from any room) is really beautiful. The location is really good as well - it is good to be a little away from Eze-village itself. The room was comfortable. The amenities and room equipments, on the other hand, do not justify the hotel 4 stars. The restaurant of the hotel is also medium - the personnel was very helpful. The price can be justified by the view, but not by the comfort.
