“Fabulous lunch”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 15, 2012

We were intrigued by this small restaurant perched on a fairly steep pedestrian street in the Suquet part of Cannes. The interior space is very cosy and nicely decorated. We opted to sit outdoors and watch the world walk by...great entertainment! My husband and I both opted for the three course tasting menu and every course was delicious. No one course was large but put together we both left well satisfied. The service was very professional and efficient. This restaurant is not inexpensive but we left feeling that we had gotten what we paid for.

“Excellent!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2012

I have been to this restaurant several times over the years (10+ years) and I have never been disappointed. We went in Aug 2012 and had the £45 Gourmand 5 course meal. It was wonderful. Pate and truffles for starter, then lobster ravioli, followed by Saint Jaques with seafood risotto, then grapefruit sorbet with vermouth. Finally Lamb with tasty veg and a dessert. Very good wine - a lovely, lovely Cassis Rose. For approx £65 each this was one of the best meals I have had in 5 years. The service was slow, but relaxed and friendly.
I Love This Place!!!!
Lovely french decor - lots of old brick walls, mirrors and white linen table cloths.
We had at least 7 meals in other restaurants over 2 weeks in the Cannes, Grasse and Mougins areas and this was by far the best. The rest were either okay or mainly poor. Well done to the chefs at Le Relais! I would have gone again and again but we had 4 very noisy children travelling with us. We went only once when we had a babysitter as we would not inflict our children on this place.
Excellent and I would come back to Cannes just for this restaurant!

“A wonderful find”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 3, 2012

In a city filled with mediocre, overpriced restaurants, Le Relais des Semailles is a true gem. Situated on pretty little street in the Suquet, the restaurant is inviting and warm. The proprietor and his wife greeted us with genuine enthusiasm, and lavished us with attention throughout the evening. Dinner was well prepared with fresh local ingredients and we savored every bite.

“Good tastes, but small portions”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 13, 2012

There were very small portions, but good tastes. The waiter wasn't very serciceminded and observant. It looks like some of the staff wasn't very happy at work.We bought only a main dish and went for another restaurant for dessert.
