Well, after reading the reviews on Tripadvisor we were excited to discover a place we did not know in the area. The third best restaurant in Cannes, wow!
Our conclusion after trying it is: It must be #1 by far for the use of NaCl. . Interestingly, after the appetizers we asked the waiter if the chef could limit the use of salt in the main course." Pas de problemes" he said! Came the dishes and it was even worse. The gratin dauphinois tasted like it was baked in the Dead Sea. When asked another waiter showed intense surprize and said the chef uses only very little salt....
This convinced us that this place needed a little wakeup call here!
There is not much to hide though as the underlying food seemed OK. Not as great as suggested by other reviews, but OK.
Besides, wines by the glass are good and atmosphere not uninteresting.
We did not try the deserts as we wanted to stay away from possible diabetes!
