“Best bang for your buck!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 29, 2014

very affordable, and comfortable accommodations located in Cannes La Bocca (just 2.2k from Cannes city center). Great location, SNF gare train station is but 350m, plenty of cafes close-by. When we return to Cannes we will stay there again.

This was enough to put us off ever going back to Cannes. We have stayed in this place for several years but it just keeps getting worse. If you are British you are treated as a second class citizen. Faulty electrics reported on day one never fixed. Pool closed at 1800. No supervision of pool area other than to prevent eating or drinking. Rowdy horseplay ignored causing accidents. Rubbish. Do not go. Not unless you want to come back covered in flea bites from the disgusting state of the rooms. If you do go be prepared for the worst.

VERY bad quality of all furnitures. Missing a total renovating of all apartments.
We ordered apartment with OCEAN view - instead we got view to pool.
Everything seem dirty and needed to be renovated.
Pool area old and worn out.

I was in this hotel 3 years ago. I was traveling for business during Cannes Lions Festival. We got first problem with reservation at check in, rude stuff was not trying to solve the problem and only our french speaking office manager solved the problem by calling them directly. Rooms are big but looks like dormitory. It had disgusting smell of old oil (as there is a kitchen facility) and other not identified things. Breakfast was so poor that we have been avoiding it. Beds are not comfortable. I can not imagine people are coming for vacation here. I'm not asking for consierge service with Bentley ride to Palais but at least for a clean simple room without smell that makes me think to sleep on a balcony.

We have booked a room that was advertised as an accommodation for 6-7 people.
I cannot see how 7 people would fit there. It was 3 of us (2 adults and one child) and that worked for us.
All rooms are facing the sea but from those on the 1st floor you can barely see it. Great location, 1 minute to the bus stop with 3-4 bus routes going to the city centre. 1 minute to the beach but if you want to go to the wider beach you will have to walk around 500m.
We were in May so not many people stayed there, mainly HP staff working on The Festival.
We have paid £320 for three of us for 7 nights. Big and properly working fridge (this is not always the case with Pierre & Vacances. The place is worth what we have paid for it, I would be disappointed if I would have to pay closer to £500 for it.
Car park under the building looks secure (we have left all 4 windows open in our car once) , double gate entry, and costed us 60 Euro for a week.

The main downturn were two beds/sofas in the living area. They were so uncomfortable that we have preferred to lay down on them rather that sitting.

But at the end we do not go there to sit in the room. We enjoyed the beach and the city and will definitely come back during our son's next may half term.

Hard beds, creepy blanket, silver fish in the wet areas, loose toilet, taped ceiling tile.
This hotel works if you go to Cannes to work and not will be in the hotel area, but I would never book it for my family!

I stayed here in May 2013 and paid for 2 nights then stayed with a friend on her floor the 2nd night I was in cannes just because I did not want to stay here. This place is far from town and gross. The pool looked dirty. The rooms were old and we had a room with one double bed and a twin bed in a cove at the entrance of the room. If you like to feel clean after you take a shower, don't stay here. If you grew in the wilderness raised by wolves, still don't come here. If you are desperate to find a place a to stay, stay on the beach or in another town if Cannes has no vacancies. yuck!!!!!

Room Tip: Don't stay here. Best. Tip. On. Trip advisor.
