“Excellent price/quality in Filmestival period”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 24, 2013 via mobile

Just 30 min of bus far from Cannes downtown, great motel style hotel. Clean rooms and polite staff. Meal are really good and not so expensive.
Being the whole day @ the festival, that is a really good solution for the nights you spend in Cannes.

We stayed in this motel style hotel on the edge on the city. Reasonable price, reasonable food. A drive to the beach and to the city / restaurants. But Importantly, rooms were clean and seemed recently renovated (95). I'd stay here again..

Ok for the price, small room, good bed, tiny tv, paper cups for the one cup of coffee in the room, very faded and quite grubby, floor was unpleasantly gritty underfoot, breakfast was buffet style, a good selection in a pleasent room looking over a swimming pool. Located next to the airport but the noise was not a factor as the planes seemed to only fly during the day, parking was a problem located outside the units but the two story nature of the hotel means anyone parks wherever. We came back from dinner and had to park out the front of the hotel and walk in the rain to the back section where the units are. Never did get the wi fi (free) to work in the ground floor unit. However we booked this so we could see Cannes during the film festival and it served this purpose well, we paid 100euros a night because of the peak time but I believe this is their highest rate, at other time this could be good value for money but I'd probably try a smaller hotel near Cannes next time.

On arriving at this establishment by mere coincidence, this after having looked for a reasonable accommodation for more than 3 hours in Grasse and Cannes, we checked in just after midnight and were granted the weekend tariff for 2 nights which was cheaper. The receptionist (a gentleman) was excellent, polite and very helpful. For a 2 star rated hotel, we were very satisfied with the room. This hotel is situated just off the main road next to an aerodrome, but amazingly the noise is minimal, we had 2 good nights rest.

Room Tip: It is better to book before if you're seeking a double bed, although the single beds are well si...

1::::The room, it doesn't possess a bin. I will have to put the banana skin on their desk.

2::::The whole room stunk of cheap paint!! It smells so much that a headache was inevitable!

3::::The bed sheets looked they haven't been cleaned. Black fluffs, big or small were all over the sheets.

4::::The receptionist wasn't as sweet as those from a hotel of half of the price.

5::::If you happened to need a taxi, the receptionist won't pre-order it for you. You will have to get to their desk while you are ready and you tell them to order it in front of your face.

6::::This hotel is in the middle of no where, oh, to be actual, it is in the middle of a private airport. You will have the great opportunities of enjoying the rhythm of the jets and helicopters.

7::::Cars of other visitors will be parking in front of your door if you are lucky enough to have a room on the ground floor. It feels so much like a motel in states.

So, enjoy your stay while you can!

Room Tip: Avoid if possible.

The ceiling was rather mouldy and peeling and so was the main room with is tiny. There was a hole in the wall made by the door handle. The bar closes at eleven and you are asked to leave then too. Wifi connection is free but unstable requiring you to log in quite often. Car park is too small when full as well.

We booked this hotel because of the reasonable price, and it didn't seem too far away from city centre. We were mistaken.

I would not recommend this hotel for travellers without cars. There isn't even a pedestrian path into the hotel, you either have to walk on the grass or the road (although cars were infrequenty on that particular road).

You have to reach city centre with a public bus. The last bus to the hotel ends relatively early so you cannot enjoy nightlife at city centre unless you take a taxi back to the hotel.

The hotel had wireless connection, but only one power plug that was free to use (the other one was used by the tv). The room was small and couldn't fit much more than the double bed and some moving space. We paid for a triple room, but the extra bed was under the double bed, and didn't look very clean (3 of us ended up sharing the double bed instead).

Although the rooms were amongst the cheaper ones you can find in cannes, I recommend you to be clear of what kind of rooms you are going to get, and the location of this hotel before making a booking
