“Great Place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 10, 2012

This hotel is located in a very convenient location, the managers were wonderful and always ready to helph you to make your stay the most pleasant and give you all the informations about restaurants and activities. The rooms are very clean, the breakfast are delicious and always served on time. We had a great time there and if you are not afraid to go up a few stairs you will enjoy this hotel and its very fair price.
A very happy customer.

Brimer is a nice, cosy hotel run by really friendly and service-minded people. Rooms are very small, but clean and comfortable. You would not want to stay here for a longer period of time, and it might not be so suitable for a work-trip. But for exploring Cannes and the surroundings for a few days it is very good value for money. The breakfast was good and the free wifi worked very well.

For years I have been staying at this hotel for a week at a time in spring and fall when I go to Cannes for a conference, and I continue to go back because the service, location, breakfast, cleanliness can't be beat for their price! The rooms are on the small side, with a small shower, but the beds are comfy and everything is sparkling clean, so I'll trade off. Best part is the service - the owners will bend over backwards to make sure you are comfortable and have everything you need for a nice stay!!

My girldfriend and i had an amazing stay at this fantastic little hotel situated i the heart of Cannes. Frederic was an amazing help, he took the time to suggest his favourite restaraunts and activities, he gave us a colourful explanation (sometimes with the help of google translator) of where to go and what to do and what was going on in Cannes. He really made our stay much more enjoyable and the hotel was easy, clean and comfortable. Breakfast was great and gave you a good launch pad for the day. Our only complaint would have been that we didnt get wifi clearly in our room as we were on the top floor, ask for a lower level room. Fantatsic stay and we would recommend it to anyone looking for an affordable stay in Cannes.

Room Tip: choose a lower level room for good wifi

Hotel Brimer is in a great location, minutes from the Palais, and just next to many shopping locations.
The internet access was good as well.
However, some of the rooms are tiny; which could be an issue during conventions when no other better rooms are available.
Also note there is no elevator- lifting a heavy luggage to the 2nd or third floor could be tough.
The service, on the other hand, is personal and great!

Tucked away just off the Rue D'Antibes, about five minutes walk from the Grand Hotel and Le Croisette; is this small but clean and friendly hotel. I had a room on the top floor with a small balcony; do not book this hotel if you do not like climbing stairs, as there is no lift. The rooms are small and basic, but very clean. The walls wouldn't be the thickest; and on one evening I could chose between Hendrix on one side and Pearl Jam on the other; fortunately my rockin' neighbours were fast asleep by the time I came back to the room.

The two staff members I met were very friendly and spoke good English; breakfast is your typical French Petit Dejeuner - rolls, croissant, fruit, coffee and juice; and is served in the ground floor reception area. The hotel, in common with many places in France; has free wi-fi throughout.

I was in Cannes for a conference; and as such I wasn't in the room or hotel very much; if you need a basic place to use as a base for exploring; the Brimer is a reasonable option. Three nights booked through booking.com cost me just under €500.00; which in conference season in one of the most expensive cities in France; actually wasn't that bad.

Room Tip: Third floor if you want to be up away from the noise of the street, but only if you don't mind c...
