“Modern Boutique hotel, great value, friendly staff”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed January 14, 2013 via mobile

We loved the modern, clean and very spacious room. The bathroom was also large and luxurious. I liked the fact this hotel didn't have a lot of rooms, it felt more like a modern house than a hotel. The staff was very kind and helpful, Stella the bartender was delightful! The location was ideal, in the middle of Cannes. We would definitely stay here again and recommend this to others!

Just a few convenient steps from the famous Rue D'Antibes, but there are indeed quite a few steps which lead you up to the reception, so you will need help with your luggage. The receptionist was friendly and gave me a quiet room as requested which was nice, but like the whole hotel, I found it soul-less. My room must have been designed by a bald man, as there was no dressing table, and no plug near a mirror for hair drying! The only shelf by the bed on which one could place a glass of water for instance, was designed as part of an integrated cupboard and which was much higher than the bed. Not at all practical. The one chair in the room had legs which were splayed wider than the chair itself and consequently after I had a bout of toe stubbing, I decided to wear my shoes as feet protectors.

The dark bathroom was modern gone mad, with a sink so shallow that the force of water from the taps splashed everything in sight so keeping anything on the side if the sink was a no no. The lighting was not kind and the room's grey colouring made ithe bathroom look cold, although the heated towel rail kept it warm

I had dinner In the dining room, but was told they were not serving hot food which disappointed me. I chose a chicken Caesar salad which was inedible (so surprising for a hotel of this calibre) and just settled for bread rolls and marmalade and went to bed which mattress was very hard with no mattress topper, and I was so uncomfortable that I hd to wrap myself up in the duvet like a folded pizza!

Anyway, full marks to the great staff who were most helpful with very good service.

This hotel is totally worthy of the high ratings of this site. Everything is true -the staff are welcoming and friendly and helpful. We arrived at noon on Friday and they stored our luggage until the room was ready. Our room was #301 - a huge room with one of the biggest bathrooms I have seen. Spotlessly clean, crisp, grey and funky with a fantastic rain shower (walk-in). Bed comfy. A good walk along La Croisette took you to town. It is right on the main shopping street Rue de Antibes for your retail needs. A nice bar in black and hot pink, with artistic black and white photos, and unusually for city centre hotels this even has a pool. The weather was very mild in November and it was nice to sit outside on the little patio area. Would happily stay here again and would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting a base in Cannes.

Would i go back? Yes. Good room, great location and helpful service at the front desk.
Breakfast is also good. Did not try restaurant in the evening.
Only disappointment was being charged for parking the car (in the hotel grounds) at the end of our stay. Watch out for that.

This was a great place to stay. Quite luxurious I would say. It is in the heart of the shopping district and one can go crazy with all the shops around. The beach is very close to the hotel and lots of restaurants and bistros around. The hub of activity around makes the whole place very happening. I was disappointed though that there was no coffee or tea making facility in the room. And breakfast which did not come with the room was very expensive. They charged 21 euros for the breakfast and it was not value for the money.

This boutique hotel is situated on the Rue de Antibes, the main shopping street in Cannes and within walking distance to the main beach front. (3 minutes walk)

The hotel has its own pool which is difficult to find in Cannes hotels and had a nice terrace area to have drinks before you go out or to have breakfast or lunch.

We had a traditional room which was very clean and carpet that was so soft it must have been new. We were overlooking the busy street but this didnt bother us as we didnt hear any noise at night. The room had solid blackout curtains as well which helped and the TV had BBC1 if you wanted to catch up on whats going on at anytime. The bedroom was smallish but it was perfectly decorated and the bathroom was very very nice and modern.

There was also free wi-fi which was nice considering you have to pay for everything in Cannes.

Overall I was pretty impressed with the hotel and would recommend it to friends.

Excellent location
Very clean and modern designed rooms
Nice friendly staff
Nice bar and Terrace
Small but nice pool area (it was off peak time)

Room Tip: We didnt get any noise from Rue De Antibes which the room overlooked so dont worry
