“What a difference”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 31, 2012

Have been several times over the years but in July 2012 something has changed. The waiters actually seem to want to serve you, the food is plainly sensational; grillled prawns a delight and the magnificent 25 Euro menu something one woudn't want them to get inflationary ideas about. And England volleyball girls won their first set in an Olympics. What a night!

“Delicious Cassoulet of Scallops with muscat type raisins.”

Loved sitting outside on a warm evening with such delicious food, good wine choice too and quirky waiter. My meal was sensational.

“New cook, best flavors.”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 24, 2012

Every year, we spend 5 months in the South of France to get away from the Sydney winter. Le Transat has always been a favourite, but in November 2011 I thought they dropped the ball. We went back in June 2012 and must tell you they have got a new cook, a new style of presentation, and a few new dishes. They changed the outdoor dining, too, and made things more permanent. Food for every taste: shellfish and seafoods, meats, birds, games. Lots of family groups turn up Friday nights. It seems to be a regular local hangout.

“Great friendly Service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 7, 2012

The service is probably what makes this restaurant. The Farcis and fish are good. Nice atmosphere.

“Long time old friend”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2011

Was until 3 years ago one of Antibes's best restaurants. It needs to get back to what it was.

It signature dish of Spaghetti Fruits de Mer has seen better days and its wine selection needs to be overhauled.

Still a lot better than many others in Antibes, though not what it was a few years ago, sitting back on its laurels when it should cut back on its selection and focus on what it does best.

Still good, but not as good as it was.
