This was the first time that we had sushi or japanese food in Antibes, and we chose this restaurant because of the positive reviews. Unfortunately, it is not as good as it seems from the previous reviews.
The sushi was nice, but the offer extremely limited. There was only sushi and sashimi on the menu, and the only cooked appetizer (yakitori) was not available. The rice of the maki and nigiri was overcooked and a little too sticky, definitely not how it should be. Then, they sell futomaki in sets of 2... how is this possible? It's no surprise that the roll is not super fresh... what happens to the 6 maki that are left after my order of just 2?
The restaurant itself was barely OK, small and cozy but I wouldn't go so far as to call it romantic. The staff, on the other hand, was very nice and friendly.
