“nice walking place”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 30, 2013

Very good for a walk when having nothing else to do. The path is well done and the landscape is beautiful. No real beaches but there are some spots where you can get into the water and have a swim.

“scenic path - don't forget your camera”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed May 28, 2013

park at La Garoupe or along Beaumont Street and allow yourself 2 hours for the whole loop (the part on the path above the sea then the way back to your car on the street). no high heels and better sneakers than flip flops - the walk also on rocks. you can visit Villa Eileen Roc (and the gardens). or stop in front of it on the path to bathe in the sea (there are ladders in the rocks and a sunbathing platform - used to be the private beach of Eileen Roc).

“A good walk but over used”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed April 10, 2013

There is no doubt that this is a beautiful location and there is much to admire about the views from the path. If you are fit it's well worth doing but if you've got very young children or are quite old or a bit unsteady on your feet or even just wearing fashionably silly shoes you won't get very far; the path is narrow and rough in many places and you'll be dealing both oncoming walkers and overtakers going in your direction as well as slow coaches you'd like to get past for enough of the time that it'll feel like a bit of a social challenge as well as a physical challenge.
IMHO, the best time to try it is early or late in the day when there will be less folks competing for space, chattering noisily, or wandering on auto-pilot whilst glued to their cellphone / texting, yes really - even here!
Many people take along a picnic / packed lunch and there are lots of good spots for sitting and consuming your goodies with a stunning view including lots of handy benches (please take your wrappers / litter home with you as there are no waste bins provided) but be warned there are neither drinks vendors nor toilets along the route, so you need to take what fluid you need and then hold on to it past the end until you can reach a cafe or get back to your hotel.

“What a stunning place of nature”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed March 27, 2013

Cap d'Antibes was one of the most beautiful landscapes i've seen. My walking tour took around three hours with resting at the beach and taking lots of pictures. You'll see every kind of nature. Beside that you can the baie des milliardaires.

“Excellent walk- we did it twice.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed March 8, 2013

We walked the route in the begining of March. Points I would note:
1/ the coastal walk only starts at the ave Mde Beaumont (either side of the villa entrance and going east all the way round the coast. Although you can access the sea at other places to the west there is no route until you get to the road on the western side. Note you cannot get to the point at the light house as it gated off at the very end.
2/ Use the bus line 2 to get to stop Fountain(?) and walk, that way you can do the good bit then catch the bus the rest of the way back if you get tired and also you get a lovely view of Antibes as you approach it across the bay- get a bus route and timetable from the Tourist Office or the bus station in the centre of town - all fares one Euro.
3/ Its up and down - 90% on made up path and steps with some walking over shingle /small bolders. This made it quite tiring and feel longer than it was.
4/ Parts of the path would be dangerous and wet if there is significant swell and waves, and may be closed.
5/ The villa at the start is well worth a visit - it was free when we went
6/ note no refreshment till you get to first proper beach and then till you get to Antibes
