“Fantastic value and delicious”

Situated right in the square surrounded by a number of more expensive eateries. 28 euros for beer, wine, water, pasta and pizza. The food was delicious in particular the Roquefort pasta

“Average food, poor service”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 19, 2012 via mobile

This was another poor experience on our holiday. The service was very bad, the waitress that served us was very unfriendly, but I think it was an English thing as she was very friendly to French patrons. They forgot our water despite us asking three times and even then we got that wrong kind. The wine I order, which was recommend tasted like vinegar, and wasn't cheap at €19 for a half bottle. The food was okay, nothing spectacular, but we would probably have forgiven that if the service had been great. Another one to avoid in Antibes.

“What else would you expect ?”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2012

This restaurant is located on the Place Nationale in Antibes, which is probably the busiest area of the city. There are a couple of restaurants on the Place Nationale, and what you see is what you get : there's an unbelievable choice of dishes which means you won't eat anything home made here and tourists are lining up waiting for a table. What I mean is : don't expect to have here a once a lifetime culinary experience. Go there for a pizza,or a salad. Nothing else, nothing less, nothing more.If you want to have some good food you will have to stay away from this area (though you also have some good restaurants in the old city) and go into the direction of the beaches. Service, food is ok as long as you go for something basic and you have no high expectations at all.

“Relaxed and friendly family restaurant”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed August 2, 2012

Good food at reasonable rates in the centre of the town. There are a number of restaurants in this square, some of which can be very disappointing. The staff here are friendly and efficient and for around €17 you get a 3 course meal which can include fish soup, moules, steak or prawns, although I found the steak a bit chewy. The usual desserts such as crème brûlée, and ice cream are served, and the cappuccino was not bad.
There is a lot going on around, and it is fairly informal, so for its prices it is good value and a good place tom take the kids

“Fondue Savoie a specialty and superb!!!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 16, 2012

A typical Gernan or Swizz will ask you why would you want fondue in summer as it is typically a winter fare but if you do,
this is their specialty with Kirsch and the whole works. it was fantastic!

Little corner of Place National.

Can't comment on other food as a friend ordered and paid for filet of boeuf and was told it was not filet? The meat was as tough as leather

Stick with their specialty and you will be fine
