“Average service with good food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed October 11, 2012 via mobile

Nice location just set back from the square. It was very busy and therefore service was forgetful. We had to pour our own wine and the pepper mill arrived once I finished my starter and the mayonnaise never arrived. We both had the fixed price menu. There were no mussels however so I had to choose something different. We both had steaks which were cooked to perfection and the Roquefort sauce was amazing. 85 euros including a tip for 3 courses, kir royal, beer, bottle of Evian and a bottle of red

“Does the job, but not outstanding”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed October 3, 2012

The location is quite central in the old town and the atmosphere pleasant.

The staff were excellent on the night we were there, friendly and efficient.

We had the Euro 18 menu, and thought the overall meal was quite good value and pleasant, if nothing mind-blowing. We ordered a bottle of local white wine (Bailli de Provence) and enjoyed that. Overall, we paid just under Euro 60 for two people.

“We return to this restaurant again and again”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

We love this place! It used to be local for us, but since we moved its a 45 minute drive for us....and we still go as often as we can. It is cozy, comforting, and the food is consistent. We love the poulet au camembert, and the beuf maitre d'hotel, and the moules frites. The staff are lovely, the owner charming. The food isn't haute cuisine, but if you want a casual atmospehric place to eat this is the one for you. They have plenty of competition, but It is ALWAYS busy, even out of season, which surely tells you something,

“Nice staff, food very disappointing”
2 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2012

Came here 3 years ago and had one had one of the best meals we have ever had.
Not sure if it was because we had very high expectations, but our meal was very poor.
Starter of Goats cheese salad came out on shop brought loaf of bread, very poor. I had the fish soup which was ok.
Beef bourguignon was not the same one we had three years ago. Edible but the type of meal you just want to get over and done with to fill you.
Desert of chocolate fondant, came out in 1 minute, clearly just microwaved. Very different to the melt in the mouth experience we had three years ago. Shame.
For french standards, this was poor.
