“Truly memorable jewel”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2013

A memorable stay and dinner at Maison Trevier! This charming B&B is in a noble historic building lovingly restored by hostess Gina, and filled with art and modern conveniences. Our room was large, clean, comfortable, and well appointed. Fresh and organic breakfasts and dinner were served in Gina’s lovely garden, a tranquil oasis that delights the senses. Gina prepared a dinner for us that was truly remarkable – we had our own personal master chef for the evening. Carpentras was a good base for our bicycle rides through this region in Provence, and Gina had maps and recommendations for the area. We highly recommend Gina’s gracious hospitality and look forward to our next stay.

we stayed with gina for 3 days in june, and had the most wonderful time. a great suite, great breakfast, and an amazing location. gina is, though, the best asset of this idyllic spot. she knows where to eat (and where not to), the best places to find wine, cheese, saucisson sec, etc. and has great advice for finding beautiful, quiet spots in the area. we didn't get to take a cooking lessons this time, but had great conversations about food and wine with gina, so we'll definitely do it next trip. in fact, my only reservation about recommending this place is that i don't want to find that it's booked full next time i want to go!

Room Tip: i saw three rooms (as friends were there as well), and they were all nice, though, obviously, the lo...

This was definitely a once in a lifetime experience. We were so lucky to have found this place and to have met Madame Gina. The maison is a beautiful place, but the best part of the experience was certainly the time we spent with Gina talking, learning, cooking, drinking wine, hanging out having "girl talk"; it was priceless. I felt like we made a friend for life. Can't wait to go back again.

We visited as a group of friends during our annual wine trip. Our table was nicely set in the courteyard and we had really a genuine local lunch experience. We were so pleased with everything from the nice welcome, atmosphere, food and not least the good wine recommendations.

Thanks Gina, you are really a positive entusiast. From Norwegian socical wine club.

Hi Gina
THANK YOU!!!. We have spend a pleasant evening with you. We managed to learn to cook a beautiful dinner and the most exciting was to find out that you can easily decide to have new experience in the Kitchen as in our case we have decided together to cook MANTI (a delicious dish from Uzbekistan).
Looking forward to see you soon again.

My husband found this on the internet and how lucky we were! We were late getting there because of plane and train issues and were welcomed with open arms. The public rooms and
terrace outside were very warm and inviting and our room and bathroom were very nice and well appointed. It was quiet, close to the town center and the market day area.

We ate in the kitchen and were able to watch Gina make her great meals and even picked up some tips. Unfortunately it was too cold to eat on the terrace but did manage to eat
breakfast out there one morning.

It is close to Aix, Avignon, Gordes and the rest of Provence.

We would definately return.

Room Tip: There are only 5 or 6 rooms and we only saw ours. It was very nice.

The experience at Maison Trevier was just what we were looking for in Provence. It is as close as you can get to living there without buying a house! Gina was the perfect host. She would give us advice on where to visit and what to see. My wife took a cooking class and loved it! We really felt like we were part of the community, down to dancing at the local festival and buying at the local market. The only minor complaints I could give would be the parking situation is not great and you do have to understand it's an older place with a lot of steps. I highly recommend staying there and immersing yourself in Carpentras culture by staying at the Maison Trevier.
