Only two words: beautiful place. Tatiana and Jean Philippe, two wonderful people.

During breakfast, that is spectacular and abundant, we were in company of them for talking about us, them and all the world.
The B & B is near the center of Avignon, so you can walk because the traffic is really terrible.
So beautifull B & B, ten points!.

Perfect location, 5 minute stroll from the ramparts.

Beautiful gardens, quirky individually decorated bedrooms and delighful owners/proprietors. Plus lovely breakfast all produced by Tatiana.

Avignon is a tough city to navigate, especially in a car. Staying across the river and walking across the bridge was so pleasant and relaxing, compared to staying in a cramped room in the old city. Tatiana and Jean-Phillipe were super - they waited for my late arrival, made sure I was all set. Super big rooms, super nice gardens and grounds. Breakfast comes from their garden and was amazing! Recommended for everybody!!!

I can't recall exactly how we stumbled upon this B&B, but despite their not being any reviews online that I could locate, we took our chances and it turned out to be an absolute hidden gem!
Tatiana and Jean-Phillipe were very welcoming and friendly and our room was beautiful and spacious. The back garden area of L'ilot Bambou is such a peaceful, relaxing spa oasis - and when the weather was nice, we were even served our breakfast in the garden. Breakfast here was also great with a generous variety of traditional French and homemade goods to start our day. To top things off, this B&B is in a great location - on the Island of Piot, directly across the river from Avignon. Consequently, once we arrived here we were able to park our rental car outside the front of L'ilot Bambou and walk across the Edouard Daladier bridge into Avignon to do our exploring - the walk into Avignon took about 10-15 mins but the views of Avignon and the famous Saint-Benezet bridge along the walk are absolutely spectacular. We would definitely highly recommend staying here.
