I stayed at the "hotel acacia" with my class-mates, it was a school trip.
The hotel was dirty, even the elevator looked scary and outdated, and we had traumatic relationship with the staff.
On our first day we told the owner that one of the beds had fallen apart, revealing that its pieces were glued together with a pink thing that looked like chewing-gum; he said that no, it was impossible, that we had tried to fix it with that thing, and then he said that it wasn't chewing-gum anyway.
After that he asked us for money to repair the not-chewing-gummed bed, preventing us to enter the hotel, until we had to give him 10€ each (260€ to fix a bed?), which he wanted to be slipped underneath the door by our teacher...
Few days after that he and a woman, probably his wife, started doing "rounds", opening our room doors at night, without even knocking, like they had completely forgotten about privacy.
Now let's talk about the rooms: my windows couldn't be completely closed, there was no hot water and the TV had some problems with the volume (it got lauder and lauder automatically).
That's what happened to me and my classmates on May 2007, maybe now the hotel is cleaner and the staff nicer, maybe it is no more, since their website disappeared.
