“Marvelous, but not cheap”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 3, 2012

A wonderful little restaurant with creative French cuisine. The people there are adorable, love what they are doing and let you build your menu as you want. But the bill may be heavy if you're going for all the courses. Worth it though.

“One & only!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed September 27, 2012

Absolutely unique experience in the heart of Arles. The place is family-run and small with not more than 20 seats, so be sure to make a reservation (tel. 04 90 18 26 57). The atmosphere is amazing as if you popped into a friendly house rather than a restaurant. The food was simple, homely, yet, truly delicious. The prices were suprisingly reasonable, for I was prepared to pay even slightly more for the service, food and ambience. For one starter, two main courses, two deserts, juice and tea we paid 72 Euro.

“very good and silent restaurant”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 18, 2012

We choose this restaurant due to the tripadvisor comments. They are absolutely right, you can eat very silent and very good in a real grandma ambiente. Everything was like described before from the other users. Five stars.

“classic cooking beautifully executed”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed July 9, 2012

I discovered this little gem of a restaurant down a quiet backstreet only a few yards from the Rue de la Republique . I went back two nights running . Very few restaurants have a patron who is so visible and so accessible . Everything is explained and nothing is too much trouble . The food was delightful -- Oefs cocotte in a crab and spinach sauce made a wonderful starter . St Marcelin goats cheese with a pine nut crust accompanied by a varied salad was an imaginative main course . The lemon desert was a creamy curd over a layer of lemon jelly above a layer of crunchy ginger biscuit - truly delicious . The wine list was varied but the house wine in carafe was very reasonable for the quality. Above everything else I felt truly at home here despite being on my own . I will definitely make a return visit .
