The hotel was average. Quite spacious rooms with clean bathrooms and decent location. The sound proofing was lacking.

We stay there at June 2003 (2 adults and 2 kids). I guess it was the warmess summer ever. Since the hotel doesn't have air conditioner(ever) and the weather average 40 degree C and our room was facing the noisy street, it was just pure torture ( try to get the cool air at night by opening the window and facing the horrible sreet noise or to close it to deal with the 40 degree heat) We bailed out on the second day and check in the Mercure (expensive but worth it) . I guess the best time to stay in this hotel are during the winter time and ask for the room away from the street. But the best part are : staff are friendly and helpfull, and the location is exellent for exploring the old town.
