“Could not be better!”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed August 25, 2011

La Maison d'Aix is an unbelievable jewel of a property. Our stay there really made our trip to Aix-en-Provence. The hotel is in a great part of town making it really easy to walk anywhere in the old part of town. All four of the rooms are spacious and well laid out. The amenities were from Compagnie de Provence and were so nice we ended up going to the Compagnie de Provence store in town and buying gifts for our friends. Every member of the staff we encountered was exceedingly friendly and helpful. Breakfast in the morning was a feast featuring fresh pastries, yogurt, coffee, cheese, and a fresh fruit salad. The private spa in the basement was also very nice and was a good way to unwind at the end of the day. If you are thinking about booking here, don't hesitate, don't bother looking anywhere else. A stay at La Maison d'Aix is worth every penny and you are sure to fall in love with it.

Room Tip: All four rooms are excellent, but not all feature bathtubs.

This small boutique hotel is more than a luxury mansion. It looks a very private club, with an amazing service. Beautiful interior design, this is really how to feel home away from home. And what a home !!!
The SPA is open 24 hours, extremely clean and discreet.
Breakfast is outstanding. Location can't be better : a few hundreds feets of shopping area, bars, restaurants.
I strongly recommend that hotel to anyone that wants to visit Provence with a real VIP logistic.

This hotel is really very special. A jewel of a place. The owners attention to detail and personal approach to hospitality creates a home away from home...but with excellence in service. A gorgeous hamam, exotic living spaces, and beautifully conceived rooms, will leave you wanting to come back again and again. Romantic, sexy, modern and chic, this was the highlight of our trip in the South of France, and we shall return!

. We had such an amazing stay. We cannot fault this incredible place at all. From the moment we arrived the service was outstanding.
. Our room was beautifully decorated with a mix of modern and fine materials. Also, the people there were great. We found everyone to be incredibly helpful and hospitable. They made the best recommendations and reservations you could imagine.. They booked for us 3 incredible operas ( Traviata, La Clemenza di Tito and Acis and Galetea). Our tickets were waiting for us each night.

They remember everyone by name, make a point of ensuring that they can't help you with your day and night. They also arranged for a private wine tour in a beautiful Mercedes that took us through Gordes, Roussillon and Baux de Provence . William, our driver showed us all the tourist sites as well as giving us the historical background. He was very knowledgeable and cordial.

We were most impressed with the delicious breakfast! Every morning, no matter what time we rolled out of bed .
We spend unforgettable romantic vacation at La Maison d’Aix .

Staying at La Maison d'Aix is like being invited to a private house for a vacation...only that private house happens to be the most fashionable, luxurious, exclusive address in town. The outside front door is discreet, while the inside furnishings are stylish and cheekily trendy. And there is a private spa!

First class option. Contemporary yet comfortable, luxurious yet charming. A lot of thought has gone into this inspired reno, with no detail left unattended, and you cannot help feeling and enjoying the personality as well as the quality here. Rooms are top notch, well-appointed and stylish while welcoming-in light and charming town views. On the doorstep of the key walking district for shopping, historical sites and culture. Food, amenities and communal areas are first class across the board. Staff and ownership are warm, friendly and very accommodating - quick to provide assistance and advice wherever needed while respecting privacy. Hope to return, and wouldn't stay anywhere else.

La Maison d'Aix reconciled us with France because we forget that France could have high standard hotels: warm welcome by staff very well educated open to the world. We are on another planet here, an unforgettable breakfast with everything free of charge, from Expresso till orange juice through the croissants. French Hotel owners should come to an internship at the House of Aix. Prices are corresponding to the service
Thanks again and congratulations.
