“Delicious food”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 17, 2013 via mobile

Friendly staff, handled the lack of reservation pretty well. The food was amazing especially the aubergine and the canard with chocolate sauce (Yum!).. But the seating outside on the main street is not too pleasant. Tables are small and too close to one another... For reservations better precise that you want to be in the neat little inside garden.

“Not Quite There”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013 via mobile

Pleased that it was not booked out and handled reservation well.
Greeted well and inviting.
Dealt with gluten free issues well.
Wine list is limited but recommended rose was good, glass of red was very average.
Entrees were good, Aubergine or eggplant was very good, and jambon was plentiful and tasty.
The Beef Rossini was well cooked but a little too much liver.
Unfortunately the John Dory fish was awful. It tasted like it had been frozen and microwave heated that left it soggy and unappetizing.

“Interesting mixed style menu”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

Came here on a recommendation by a local colleague. Very nice food and well presented. The menu was interesting mixing local French food with Japanese, Thai, and 'European' - separate dishes of course. Good, if pricey wine list.
The restaurant was quite small and packed, so service was just about OK. What really annoyed was the fact that where we were sitting it was narrow, so the back of the chair was being constantly kicked by customers and the servers. Other seats I'm sure were better placed.

“Food much better than the service”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 10, 2013

Great food but service leaves room for improvement. Bottle of wine was brought to the table but remained unscrewed; paying the bill took us almost half an hour.

“Small nice restaurant, chatty, relaxed, great food.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 27, 2013

Really great food, waiter speaks English, and is entertaining, not sure how much he listens, but he has great spirit!
Great food, location looks off the main restaurant area slightly, but once there, really good. Locals there when we were there.
Lamb shanks rocked, dory fish very good.
Enjoy!
