I Was looking at the Mercure but thet was full so I ended up here, in some ways the Ibis is better, no noise from the train station and a bit closer to the beautiful town centre of Nantes, where there are plenty of eateries and things to see.
The rooms are quite compact, standard IBIS furniture, but here they seem to have ditched the awful beds that were the main reason I had tended to avoid IBIS hotels wherever possible. I would go as far as saying that the bed was amongst the most comfortable I have slept in, and I have visited a lot of hotels.
The Shower was also a very effective and the bathroom clean and modern.
I would park in the underground parking lot if coming by car, as there is limited street parking and anyway you have to pay for this, you can probably avoid paying for the hotel parking by not telling them you are parked there upon checkout.
Breakfast is the usual continental with plenty of coffee and pastries, cereal etc.
Overall I was very satisfied with this hotel and woudl use it again.
