Smashing location on the Place de la Republique and very well patronised - be prepared to wait for a table during mid-evening and a slightly slow service in busy periods. Friendly smiling staff make ordering easy for those (like me) lacking decent French.
Very unpretentious with a simple menu not in the least sophisticated but offering good honest "holiday French" with an accent on Moules (in a multitude of sources), pizza's and the like. I tried the moules which proved a conversation stopper so big was the serving (albeit they were quite small) and which took a lot of work to get through.
The bill for the six of us came to around 180 euro and that included drinks (in which a bottle of Champers featured) and I think that was very good value for a very convivial evening.
