We stayed here in mid September on a weekend in order to attend a wedding. Staff were very professional and truly kind, hotel is lovely and beautifully kept. Our least expensive room in the house ( US$300 plus) was on the top floor with a nice view of the pine trees on one side and vacation homes at the rear. It was quiet, nicely furnished, with a well appointed bathroom - new rain type shower etc. When we arrived they had a room air conditioner on wheels that we asked to be removed, as it wasn't that warm and took up space. (Obviously hotel doesn't have central air) My husband thought the bed was a bit soft. The room wasn't huge, but there was excellent storage. We could occasionally hear folks in the ajoining room, as there was a connecting door.
The one star Michelin restaurant is excellent, though pretty pricy. When we saw that the appetizers were 30 euros, we quickly decided to just order wine with appetizers and desserts. Nobody batted an eye over that choice - and they gave us at least two extra course samplings. The grounds and location are really pretty and the feeling of the whole place is very intimate. The beach is across the street and the fun Saturday market is a nice walk into town.
