We stayed overnight before driving onwards to North West France. The hotel is very near where we docked on the ferry from England.
We had a very friendly welcome from the staff who helped with what we wanted to take in, leaving the car in a locked car park where anyone could have climbed over the low wall and emptied it! But we had too much to carry, including a second wheelchair - it was all untouched.
The hotel is accessible and our room was very nice indeed - big enough to turn round in and with a really big bathroom. High toilet with grab rail, basin a bit too high but with lever tap, a shower tray with a rail, a seat and curtains (didn't like them) but, no soap dish!
Dinner was good in the Brasserie and breakfast was fine before we went on our way.
Coming out of the car park meant that my husband had to go round the block to get to the entrance where I was waiting. It is up a steep hill and would have been a bit frightening to go down in my chair.
