We were guests for one week at this hidden gem. The moment we arrived we knew it was a very special place. The location is excellenrt, you are only a few minutes walk from everything, but once you come thru the large garden gates, tranquility takes over. Madame Liliaane and her husband, Antoine along with her dedicated wonderful staff, are there to assure your every need and comfort. The rooms are large and airy, each has its own distinct decor. Breakfast is served either in the garden, or indoors in a charming room, and now a ooffee shop has been added outside the gates for breakfast, lunch and light dinner. We have traveled for many years and have stayed in many B&B'S, this will always be a very special place to stay.

Room Tip: All rooms are equally charming

A warm welcome (and a warmer au revoir), a beautiful room overlooking the amazing garden, delicious, leisurely breakfasts, a super-comfortable bed, and the very best service - all made us feel like we were at home, not in a B&B. Be sure to breakfast in the cider press room or in the courtyard, the coffee shop is nice but just doesn't have the same feel. The location is perfect, a quiet street away from the hustle of the square and a short walk to everything. Feel free to practice your French with Liliane, but English is fine too. Her restaurant recommendations were spot on and we dined at one of them (L'homme de Bois) on two of our 4 nights here. Honfleur is a gem to visit, with many wonderful excursions in the surrounding area. Follow Liliane's recommendations for side trips and you won't be disappointed. And don't miss the Maisons Satie in Honfleur, a quirky and fascinating museum devoted to the work and times of the musician Erik Satie.

What did we like best about this B&B? Everything. This was without a doubt one of the nicest places we have EVER stayed, and we've traveled a lot.

Room Tip: First floor room with fireplace overlooks garden!

After a long day it was by mere chance we came across this gem. Situated in close proximity to the centre of town, a mere 5 minute walk, we had the opportunity to sample old world charm. Our room, the loft, to the right of the garage was ageless in it's appearance and very large and comfortable. En suited it provided everything one would need. To top it all off was the free under cover parking, no extra charge. Breakfast included was traditional french served in the beautiful courtyard, served by the most charming owner.
This B&B has certainly set the standard. Excellent.

Room Tip: Book well in advance

We spent a delightful 3 nights at Lilliane's B&B in Honfleur. At check-in, she volunteered to move her car in front of the property for us to park and take our time to unload which is indicative of the welcoming nature of this property. The B&B is comprised of several buildings overlooking a well-manicured courtyard which Lillane owns making it a private oasis in Honfleur. Its a 5 minute walk to the city center but its probably one of the prettiest walks passing by eclectic shops and old world buildings.

Lilliane runs the 9 room/apt B&B seamlessly and is the eptiome of French charm. At the time we were there, roughly half of the guests were French speaking but Lillane and staff were very welcoming to English-speaking guests as well. Breakfast was a very good as we loved the home-made jams. We noticed some differences between dining in the main room vs the coffee shop and would recommend the main room instead based on jam and cheese selection. At the time of this review, this B&B is 6th in Honfleur which seems extremely underrated especially for the price to value comparison of the property. We highly recommend to anyone looking to spend a few days in Honfleur! There are also beautiful towns nearby in Etretat and Trouville to visit while in Honfleur

We stayed 2 nights in Honfleur, in "le loft" which is a self catering accommodation a little bit away from La Cour Sainte-Catherine but still managed by Liliane. We loved our stay, people were very friendly, amazing restaurants and what a stunning town. We had breakfast at the cafe on La Place du Puit run by some friends of Liliane and it was very good, fresh baguettes, croissants, plenty of hot chocolate for the kids. The market on saturday morning is fantastic and there was also a flea market on sunday. My 5 year old son was sad to go. We will come back. I am French and i can honestly say it was wonderful.

We first arrived on the 21st april on two motorbikes, were met by liliane, shown to our room which was fabulous. She allowed us to park our bikes within the courtyard for safety, which i dont think would be a problem here. We stayed for one night, then were travelling around france for 5 days, then back here for another one night stay. Liliane allowed us to pay after our second stay which was incredibly trusting. This is a perfect base for exploring Honfleur, and i cannot recommend it enough. Perfect!!!

Room Tip: All rooms are good

I stayed here with mom mother and grandmother on a trip through Normandy. The owners were so nice. I had accidentally booked the room for the next night and so everyone was surprised when we showed up. However, the staff was incredibly accommodating and got us rooms without any fuss. For the same quoted price, they gave my grandmother a ground-floor room so she didn't have to climb the tiny winding staircase. The property is a 13th century nunnery and the old well is at the top of the street. Wonderful cats are hanging out in the courtyard. My only complaint is that there was no hot water in the evening when I hoped to take a bath before bed...it worked great in the morning though.
