“Excellent Dinner”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 21, 2012

The food was fresh and inventive. The review we read said they specialize in traditional French bistro cooking, fresh fish and great homemade desserts all made with the best fresh ingredients. We would agree with all of this. We had a wonderful meal from the appetizers to the main course to dessert and of course the wine. The chef and owner helped us to decipher the menu. It was a lovely restaurant. Make sure you book in advance.

“Wonderful, contemporary and a must (not as touristy, which we loved)”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 10, 2012

The wine, the food and the service was exceptional - the two waiters and the chef/owner!!!! The chef/owner greeted us when we arrived. When he realized English was our native language (with broken French), he offered to come to our table and explain the menu personally AND in English. He recommended some wonderful (and reasonably priced) wine. We had two bottles of two different kinds (one for appetizers and one for the dinner), and both were excellent. So, the immediate service was a plus and solidified the recommendation made by our B&B. (Our B&B recommended this restaurant and mentioned that the chef/owner created unique dishes). We were so pleased we ate here - what a chef he is! There were 5 of us; all of us loved it. When first seated, you are served a terraine with bread that my husband ate with a spoon when we ran out of bread (he loved it!).The appetizers included a wonderful quail dish and black boudin - excellent choices. The fish dish my friend and I chose had a light mustard sauce that was unbelievably delicious. My husband had the rabbit stew and another friend had a chicken dish. This place is a must when visiting Honfleur if you appreciate wonderful cuisine. It is NOT a touristy place like many restaurants that are near the harbor where you get the basics. Thanks for a wonderful dinner!!!!

Very friendly and welcoming atmosphere with superb food. The decor is wonderfully original. If you are visiting Honfleur, L'Endroit should be on your list of places to eat.
