“Not living up to its reputation”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed July 18, 2013

The staff were accommodating, the setting quaint, but the food was not up to snuff. Fine French cuisine was not what we had. Wish I could say something nicer.

We had a delicious, beautifully presented multi-course meal for a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

“Honfleur gastronomique”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 23, 2013

A creative approach, never heavy or contrived -- this must be one of the best restaurants in Honfleur. If you just want to wolf down a tower of crustaceans and mollusks (which is a great idea in Honfleur), this is not your restaurant. But if you seek well-prepared combinations and ideas which may surprise and intrique, ah, then you must try Le Breard.

“My favourite restaurant in Honfleur”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 12, 2013

We've eaten here many times, both lunch and dinner and always come away saying " wow...that was great"!......what else do you want from a restaurant? Highlights this time were foie gras with a passion fruit jelly topping, aubergine canneloni with foie gras shavings & licorice, lamb chops cooked to perfection and of course the always delicious souffle. Add a smashing bottle of chassagne montrachet rouge at around 50 euros and this was a superb sunday lunch. Staff were charming & efficient as usual. Fabrice & his wife run a really good restaurant.

“a gem in a gem”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 4, 2013

we were in Italy, France and Switzerland for 5 weeks...went to many restaurants including a michelin 3 star. THIS IS THE BEST DINNER WE HAD in the entire 5 weeks. Intimate, friendly, excellent service and WONDERFUL FOOD. Each course was excellent. You won't be disappointed. and at a reasonable price.
