It was in a really good location close to the town so walking distance to shops, restaurants and bars. There was a Carrefour supermarket 4 doors down so very convenient. Staff were very friendly and helpful with any questions we had. We have a 15month old baby and they warmed up his food, provided kettles to make-up bottles, etc, nothing was too much trouble. Our room was very spacious which is useful when you have lots of baby stuff and pushchair, etc. There was also a lovely, back garden with nice planting which was so tranquil and a nice place to sit and relax wth a glass of wine and some olives.

Negatives, were there were about 4 steps leading into the building, also we had a room in the back garden area with about another 8 steps down, which can be difficult with a baby and pushchair, but I had a very willing husband to help with all of that. If you dont have a baby or mobility problems wthen it wont be an issue for you.

Apart from that I would thoroughly recommend this hotel. The rooms are all individually decorated instead of these large soul-less hotels which are so uniform. Plus the price was great, considering how much they charge for other hotels in the area.

Would stay again

During the Deauville American film festival there are not many rooms available at a reasonable price. I thought I had found a gem based on reviews, but was a little disappointed when I arrived. The room was small and dated. Plus it had a strange smell that seemed to be coming from the plumbing. The walls are paper thin so you can hear the TVs on in the rooms adjacent. Bring earplugs! The one plus in the room was that the bathroom seemed newly renovated and was very clean.

The breakfast was the standard French breakfast (bread, jam, butter, coffee, juice) plus yogurt and fruit.

The reception closes around 8:30-9pm so be sure to arrive before then or call the hotel in advance to make arrangements.

We booked a room without knowing of the good recommandations it had already gotten and were in that sense lucky to find it.
The service is very good, you feel welcomed as soon as you enter the door, and the breakfast in the backyard is a perfect start of the day.
The room we got wasn't any bigger than it needed to be to fit in a rather hard bed, but it was very clean and the bathroom was also of a good standard.
If you look for a cheaper alternative in Deauville, this hotel is absolutely worth a try!
