“Decent Hotel, Good Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed November 14, 2011

The good points for this hotel are the central location and very good breakfast (for France, that is). Don't be put off by lack of parking, it's usually easy enough. Anything negative would be nitpicking, although as a Frenchman says below, they are really, really chatty. Probably less so in English.

4 of 5 stars Reviewed August 12, 2011

We stayed at this hotel for 5 nights in two rooms, as my niece travelled with us. We all enjoyed staying there. We slept well, exept my niece that had a room that was part of a suite, just separated with a door letting noice in. She could hear everything late at night, when other guests came back. Using her earplugs she redused the little "noise" coming from the others and the hotel is otherwise quiet, so she liked her room. Seagulls woke us up once in a while, but as we were staying in a sea resort, it's expected!
The couple running the hotel are very friendly and made us feel very welcome! We enjoyed wonderful breakfast with nice coffee and fresh orange juice along with french goodies! All freshly baked!
We had quite a few rainy days, and spent some time in the hotel away from the rain. We missed a sitting area to relax inside, but that's the only thing we missed.
It's close to everything, also the marked, which should be visited while in Deauville!

This hotel was recommended by the Tourist information - always helpful with accommodation in France.
It was not a disappointment. The hotel was redecorated and they had done a lot of work with it during the winter. It was very nice, and clean rooms. The rooms were spacious. We stayed in two different rooms - as we staid there during two periods - both rooms very nice. The decor was quite different in the rooms, but both nicely done.
They have a cute back yard where it is also newly painted and nice.
The couple running the place was very pleasant. The wife talks English and French, the husband French.
One room cost 90 EUR and the other, a bit bigger and all new- 110 EUR. Good value for the money.
The hotel is in the city center - close to everything. Quiet - except from all the seagull in the city of Deauville.
The only drawback is that it is difficult to get web access, even though it is free.
I would go back any time!
