We stayed here the night before we got the ferry back to the UK as it is 20mins away. We had a family room which accommodated 2 adults and 3 children...it was basic but spacious. It was clean...bed not that comfy and could have done with more pillows!!
We booked to have breakfast which I now regret!! It was expensive at E8 and not at all appetising!!
There are other places nearby to eat!!

We stayed here to visit D-Day beaches, cemeteries and Caen. It's 30 mins from Ouistreham car ferry and it's ideally placed on a roundabout with roads leading directly to Arromanches and the other Landing Beaches, Pegasus Bridge and Caen. etc. There's plenty of parking. The rooms are on the small side with limited space around them, but perfectly clean and with an en-suite bathroom. Despite being on a roundabout there was very little traffic noise. We paid €55 per room per night and I thought this was good value for this hotel which is correctly graded as 2*. Coded separate entrance if you return after 11pm. We ate in the hotel restaurant every night and were pleasantly surprised, with a la carte and fixed price menus, wines and beers at reasonable prices. The staff were wonderful and this hotel was a good find and we would recommend it.

My wife and I were transferred to this hotel, for one night, from the Kyriad Memorial just across the road (after our room was allegedly flooded) and our first impression was not wonderful but how wrong we were. Our room on the second floor though relatively dark was large and clean with a comfortable double bed and flat-screen TV. The restaurant on the ground floor was exceptionally good value with a superb menu. There was adequate car parking in the hotel grounds and access to and from Caen was good. The staff were very friendly and spoke good English. Although basic we would definitely recommend for a stopover.

Four of us, all OAPs, stayed here to visit D-Day beaches and cemeteries. It's easily found just off the Perpherique Nord, on a roundabout with road leading directly to Arromanches or into Caen centre or Pegasus Bridge, Ouistreham car ferry etc. There's plenty of parking. We received a warm welcome and our rooms were on the ground floor - I didn't notice any lift for the second floor. The corridors to the rooms are a bit drab and the clean bed linen is stored in the corridor behind curtains. We were intending to go into Caen centre for an evening meal but heavy rain persuaded us to eat in the hotel restaurant, and we were pleasantly surprised, with a la carte and fixed price menus, wines and beers reasonably priced. All in all this hotel was a useful find and I would recommend it.
