Wonderful hotel within walking distance of the famous Bayeux tapestry and within easy driving distance of all the D-day beaches. We had a lovely large room on the front side with a huge bathroom/WC. Breakfast was 6E extra with croissants, yogurt, juice, coffee/tea, fruit. There is a grocery store next-door if you want to spend a little less for breakfast. Restaurants are all along the street on either side of the hotel. There is no elevator but if you don't mind climbing stairs and dragging your luggage, you'll be okay. The desk clerk was especially helpful in arranging a rental car for us and he was fluent in English. I forgot to mention that the walls of the hotel are lined with old b/w photos of WWII. The French in Normandy are still very grateful to the Brits and Americans for liberating them in 1944, and we found them all to be very hospitable and gracious.
