A great museum with thousands of genuine artefacts, displayed well and logically progressing through the Normandy campaign from the landings to the ultimate victory. A must see!

“Superb Military Museum”
5 of 5 stars Reviewed June 2, 2012

Covering, as it does, the entire Normandy campaign and not just D-Day, this surpasses the museum in New Orleans and is superior in its detail to the parts of the Army Museum in the Invalides in Paris that deal with these months of WWII. A stirring reminder of the importance of Charles de Gaulle in world history in my lifetime.

“Good for WWII enthusiast”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

If you like to see old WWII weapons, machinary and armament, this place has a great collection. And it has lots of nice exhibits about people that you might not think about that were part of the invasion like the newsmen that landed with the solders.

“A must for any Brit first timers”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed May 31, 2012

Reasonably priced, easy to reach and park. A truly interesting insight into the landings, with some good dioramas and personal items from the time. With the added bonus of having the largest British Cemetery in Normandy across the road where you can spend the time to reflect and honor the dead.
