“David J "Delightful hotel in a good location"”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed September 13, 2013

I have just spent one night there with my party of 23 people as we toured Brittany in our MG sports cars. The hotel was ideally located in the town centre and has excellent car parking facilities. With very helpful English speaking staff, the delightful hotel was a haven of peace and tranquillity with a lovely garden in which to enjoy drinks before dinner. Although the hotel does not have a restaurant there is a very good one 100m away. Not the cheapest hotel in town but thoroughly recommended.

Stayed at this hotel for two nights and apart from a lack of a restaurant it was an enjoyable stay.
Very quiet so we slept well, which as we are both 78 years old is a great sucess.Car parking facilities are very good and spacious. Location ideal for wandering around the city.

We spent four nights here at the start of two weeks driving around France. The location is wonderful...all the sites, such as the beaches, tapestry and Caen, are very convenient. We walked to dinner every night and had no trouble driving in and out of town. Room was one flight up, which was a bit tough with our luggage as there is no elevator. No A/C either, which was a problem due to unseasonably warm weather. Staff was very friendly and helpful. We felt very pleased with our choice of lodging in Bayeux!

Small rooms with remodeled baths. Onsite parking. Buffet breakfast.

When it works, wifi works for one device at a time. If you stay in Annex, you cannot use in main hotel.

Breakfast is a cold buffet, and even with letter confirming that "breakfast is included", it is charged as an add-on.

Please, understand that our hotel is very old, the buildings have been built in 1734. First it wasn't even sure that we could get a working WIFI connection in our hotel. We need to install 2 separate boxes (one in each building) to have WIFI, this means that the guests whose rooms are in the garden house can not use the WIFI in the main building and the opposite.
Please notice that we offer a free WIFI connection for our guests in each room and it's unlimited,
If we would like to offer more connection per room technicians have warned that the quality would be much worse and very slow which is why we made the choice to stay a connection / room
Kind regards

My wife and son and I stayed here on a tour of the Normandy WWII sites in the spring of 2013. The rooms were charming, with beamed ceilings and updated bathrooms. It is very conveniently located: near the cathedral, the (separate) museum that houses the Bayeux tapestry, as well as restaurants and shops, including good patisseries. Parking is available on-site. We'd definitely stay here if we returned to Bayeux.

Just spent a night at this lovely little hotel. Beautiful building with gorgeous gardens. The room was not large but certain end had everything we needed and was most comfortable. Lovely beds and good sized bathroom. The breakfast on off was delicious, very French with the different breads and cheeses as well as cereals, yoghurt and requisite pastries. Found the staff to be most accommodating. This hotel certainly lives up to its 3 star rating. I would definitely recommend it. It is only a short, pleasant stroll into the town centre.

We had three rooms. They are poorly appointed. Breakfast was marginal and the staff average. Although one person from Finland was helpful. Its overrated and I wouldn't return. I did meet the new owners of the Churchill Hotel while in Bayeux and I will definitely give them a try next trip. Really nice people.

Sorry for the bad review.
