The architect should be shot! I'd call the style of the station and its surroundings "Modern French Brutalist". The place is cold and draughty, with the very few benches strategically placed to give one maximum exposure to the draught; the prevailing colour is the dull grey of ageing concrete, and the soulless Eurostar waiting area makes one happy to leave France and its completely unimaginative modern public architecture.
As to facilities, the (paying) loos are clean, there are two identikit newsagents (Relay chain; no competition, please, we're in France!) with very limited offerings in terms of international press, there's no real restaurant to speak of, just a couple of places where one can buy unimaginative sandwiches.
If there's an ATM, I did not find it.
Once within the Eurostar waiting area, there is no place to buy food or drink except some machines dispensing overpriced sweets.
