Hotel room was spotlessly clean - including the bathroom. The bed was the best hotel bed I've slept in. Down side was only the long walk along a warren of corridors to find a lift to take us up to the room, with a repeat journey back to reception. Unfortunately this is the layout of the hotel. Our son had a similar room but with a view of a flat roof. Breakfast was buffet style in the hotels restaurant. Restaurant was a pizza/pasta establishment. Seating arrangements and décor reflected this. Breakfast was adequate and filling. Hotel had its own secure underground carpark for 10 euros for 24 hours, the other option was finding parking in the street. Hotel situated very close to the marina and short walk to shopping centre. The Battle of Dunkerque Museum was worth the 10 min walk and very interesting. Museum was a stones throw from the beach. Hotel staff were approachable and friendly, also understood and spoke English. The only thing to spoil our break was the drizzly weather.
