This a small restaurant, run by a Moroccan couple, seating probably no more than 20 comfortably, He is the chef and has one kitchen helper and his wife does front of house - very efficiently. We arrived at 7 and by 8pm it was full with a couple waiting outside. We had a set 2 course evening menu for @ 17€pp plus wine. I started with a simple smoked salmon dish (very good) and my partner had the aubergine brique (scrumptious). For the main course, a lemon confit chicken dish (lovely, with a delicate perfume) and my partner the beef tagine full of spicy flavour. The food was well portioned, well balanced with meat and veg (yes veg in France!) and freshly made. This wasn't overly traditional Moroccan food but a modern version, without the couscous and harissa but with a great deal of attention to fresh ingredients and well thought out flavour combinations. We loved it. The wine was a bit gutsy but quaffable (you can always add water to take the edge off!). We'll be going there again the next time we are in Toulouse.
